Hyderabad Airport passenger fee increase not enough, says GMR

India's GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) proposed increase by Aera in the user development fee (UDF) from INR340 to INR420 for domestic passengers and from USD20 (INR907) to USD37 (INR1,656) for international passengers, 01-Nov-2010 is short of what has been sought by the company (Business standard, 05-Oct-2010). GHIAL projected that if there was no increase in UDF and aeronautical charges and the landing charges were also not levied, it would incur a net loss of USD221 million (INR980.8 crore) in 2010-11, USD172 million (INR764.53 crore) in 2011-2012 and USD102 million (INR453.96 crore) in 2012-2013.
