Hartsfield-Jackson and Delta reach deal

US' Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport announced Delta Air Lines is now willing to invest USD2 billion through 2013 in airport facilities, including some of the USD1.4 billion cost of the new international terminal (aviationweek.com, 26-Apr-2011). The two parties, who had been feuding over the cost of the airport's new Maynard H Jackson International Terminal, have now reached a deal. Delta Air Lines has almost 1000 daily departures from the airport to 216 destinations.
