GOL pax traffic soars 34.8%, yield continues to recover in Dec-2009

GOL passenger traffic up 34.8% - traffic highlights:

• Dec-2009:
  • Passenger traffic (RPMs): +34.8% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: +36.2%;
    • International: +23.9%;
  • Load factor: 76.3%, +11.6 ppts;
    • Domestic: 77.1%, +9.5 ppts;
    • International: 70.3%, +21.4 ppts;
• 12 months ended 31-Dec-2009:
  • Passenger traffic: +3.1%;
  • Load factor: 65.3%, +3.7 ppts. [more]

GOL: "As a result of the gradual recovery in yields following the scenario of increased price competition, net yield showed recovery once again in December, reaching slightly more than BRL 19.00 cents.
