GOL: "The total load factor came to 68.9% in July 2010 (68.2% on the domestic market and 73.8% on the international market, the highest ratio since the acquisition of VRG), 2.6 ppts down year-on-year, but 7.0 ppts more than the previous month. The net yield was close to BRL 21.00 cents, around 10% up on Jul-2009 and 5% higher than Jun-2010. The year-on-year decline in the load factor was due to a one-off change in consumer behaviour, chiefly due to the World Soccer Cup, which caused many people to put off their flights until later, especially in the leisure segment. However, this was offset by the improved yields," Company statement. Source: GOL, 03-Aug-2010.
