London Gatwick Airport achieves two years of consecutive month on month growth in Feb-2015

London Gatwick Airport passenger numbers up 7% - traffic highlights for Feb-2015:

  • Passenger numbers: 2.5 million, +7.2% year-on-year;
    • UK and Channel Islands: 256,600, -6.5%;
    • Ireland: 96,800, +7.1%;
    • European scheduled: 1.5 million, +9.6%;
    • European charter: 1.7 million, +9.1%;
    • North Atlantic: 82,400, +9.5%;
    • Other long-haul: 541,800, +7.6%;
  • Cargo volume: 6411 tonnes, -0.8%;

The airport noted (11-Mar-2015) the growth in Feb-2015 marks the 24th consecutive month of month-on-month passenger growth at the airport.
