Ethiopian Airlines CEO will soon enter JV discussions with Star Alliance partners

Ethiopian Airlines CEO Tewolde GebreMariam, speaking at the CAPA World Aviation Summit 2015, said (07-Oct-2015) he expects Ethiopian Airlines will soon enter JV discussions with Star Alliance partners such as All Nippon Airways and Air China, as markets between Africa and Asia continue to grow. Mr GebreMariam said a significant segment of the Africa-Asia market share is going to the Gulf carriers, due to the superior network coverage provided through these carriers' hubs.
