Emirates wants more range from Boeing and Airbus

Emirates President Tim Clark, speaking on the sidelines of the IATA AGM, stated the carrier is telling Boeing and Airbus it wants them to create more range out of their new and existing aircraft (The News Tribune, 07-Jun-2011). He also stated the carrier is considering acquiring more long-range aircraft from both manufacturers.
