Emirates now largest long-haul carrier

Emirates has become the world's largest carrier by fleet for long-haul services and traffic with the carrier now ahead of Lufthansa, according to consultancy firm, Arthur D Little (WirtschaftsWoche, 05-Dec-2010). With 155 long-haul aircraft, Emirates' fleet is now the world's largest, with the carrier, in addition to Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways to continue to take market share from Air France-KLM, British Airways and Lufthansa in the future.
