easyJet revenue down 1% in 3QFY2015, expects full year profit growth

easyJet reported (22-Jul-2015) the following operating highlights for three months ended 30-Jun-2015:

  • Revenue: GBP1228 million, -1.0% year-on-year;
  • Seat revenue: GBP1209 million, -1.1%;
  • Non-seat revenue: GBP19 million, +10.9%;
  • Passenger numbers: 19.1 million, +6.2%;
  • Load factor: 91.7%, +1.3 ppts;
  • Revenue per passenger: GBP64.42, -6.8%;
  • Revenue per seat: GBP59.08, -5.4%;

easyJet: "Our Q3 performance shows that easyJet's strategy continues to deliver, in particular with good performance in the UK and beach routes across Europe. With 77% of second half seats now booked, easyJet expects to grow profit before tax from GBP581 million for the year to 30 September 2014 to a range of GBP620 million to GBP660 million for the year to 30 September 2015.
