easyJet primary focus is growth within existing geographic footprint
easyJet group commercial director Catherine Lynn, speaking at CAPA's Airlines in Transition Conference on 25/26-Mar-2015, stated (26-Mar-2015) the airline's primary focus in on its current geographical footprint such as the UK, Switzerland, France, Italy and inbound Portugal and it is not looking to plant flags in new territories to seek growth. easyJet will continue to take business from full service carriers but the size of its market will also expand overall. The airline does not expect the full service short-haul point to point model to perform well in the future against LCC competition.
