easyJet: Exiting the EU 'will not have a material impact' on its strategy

easyJet noted (24-Jun-2016) it is "confident" leaving the EU "will not have a material impact on its strategy or its ability to deliver long term sustainable earnings growth and returns to shareholders. The carrier stated it was preparing for this eventuality prior to the referendum and "has been working on a number of options that will allow it to continue flying in all of its markets". The carrier added: "easyJet's initial focus will be to accelerate discussions with UK and EU governments and regulators to ensure that the UK remains part of the single EU aviation market. easyJet will also continue to develop its alternative options that will fully maintain its existing network and operations".
