easyJet less risky than Ryanair - Sir Stelios

easyJet founder, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, expressed (at the 2009 World Low Cost Airline Congress, 30-Sep-2009) his belief that easyJet's model is more resilient and offers a lower level of risk than that pursued by Ryanair. He added he is now "a lot happier" with the carrier's recent shift to a "more modest growth strategy", with a planned medium-term growth rate of around 7.5% p/a. Sir Stelios challenged easyJet over its planned growth rate earlier in the year.
