Dubai International Airport pax up 6%, cargo up 1% in Jul-2013

UAE's Dubai International Airport reported (28-Aug-2013) a 6.1% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers to 5.3 million in Jul-2013. Cargo volume increased 1.2% to 206,950 tonnes and aircraft movements increased 2.3% to 28,462. Passenger traffic grew across all regions with the exception of AGCC (-8.0%) and the Middle East (-12.6%), both of which saw traffic declines due to the year-on-year shift in the timing of Ramadan.
