DoT clears one of last hurdles for Continental-United merger

Continental Airlines stated (31-Aug-2010) the US Department of Transportation (DoT) issued a route transfer exemption for Continental Airlines, Continental Micronesia and United Airlines, one of the last regulatory approvals needed to close the merger between Continental and United.
