Brussels Airlines cancels its flight programme till Monday 12h00

17-Apr-2010 Given that no significant weather improvement is expected, Brussels Airlines is forced to cancel all its flights until Monday April 19th, 2010 1200 local time (10:00 GMT).

This decision will allow us to be better prepared to restart our activities once the European airspace reopens. Brussels Airlines asks its passengers not to go to the airports.

The Belgian and European airspace remains contaminated with volcanic ashes. According to the latest weather forecast information (weak wind, dry weather conditions) no significant improvement is expected. A new evaluation and communication will follow Monday morning.
