Demonetisation in India did not hit aviation demand in Nov-2016: Minister

India's Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju, via his official Twitter account, confirmed (15-Dec-2016) strong domestic traffic growth in Nov-2016, despite the impact of demonetisation, tweeting: "Allaying all growth fears, domestic passenger traffic has again clocked record growth of 22.4% YOY in the de-monetisation month of Nov'16".
