US' Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport passenger numbers up 4% - traffic highlights:

• Jun-2013:
• • Passenger numbers: 5.5 million, +3.7% year-on-year;
  • • Domestic: 4.8 million, +2.4%;
    • • Low cost carriers: 460,856, +23.2%;
    • International: 650,143, +14.2%;
    • • Low cost carriers: 39,911, +62.5%;
  • Cargo volume: 54,317 tons, -5.4%;
  • Aircraft movements: 58,066, +5.2%;
• Six months ended 30-Jun-2013:
• • Passenger numbers: 29.8 million, +3.8%;
  • Cargo volume: 316,724, -2.8%;
  • Aircraft movements: 337,532, +5.5%.

During the month, the airport handled 500,767 LCC passengers, an increase of 25.6% year-on-year. For the first half, LCC passengers increased 32.1% to 2.5 million.
