US' Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport passenger numbers up 2% - traffic highlights for May-2013:

• Passenger numbers: 5.2 million, +1.5% year-on-year;
• • Domestic: 4.7 million, +0.7%;
  • • Low cost carriers: 447,572, +33.4%;
  • International: 555,288, +9.2%;
  • • Low cost carriers: 16,603, +214.0%;
• Cargo volume: 55,421 tons, -2.9%;
• Aircraft movements: 58,441, +4.3%.

The airport reported (05-Jul-2013) total LCC passengers increased 36.2% year-on-year to 464,175 during the month.
