Cyprus may sell majority stake in Cyrpus Airways: report

Cyprus Finance Minister Kikis Kazamias stated Cyprus may sell a majority stake in state-controlled Cyprus Airways. According to reports in Phileleftheros, the Minister stated the government has indicated its readiness to negotiate with interested investors or strategic partners, with the sale of the majority stake not ruled out. In the next week or two, the Ministry will submit a proposal to the Cabinet allowing for the stake to be sold to investors. The airline is 69% owned by the state.
