China United Airlines to introduce new operating system, products and brand

China Eastern Airlines stated (04-Jul-2014) it has become China's first airline to offer both full service and LCC services following the transformation of its China United Airlines subsidiary into a LCC on 02-Jul-2014. Expected to become China's largest LCC, China United will introduce a market-oriented management structure, establish new operating system, new product system, new service standards, new brand image and brand culture. The new LCC's Boeing 737 fleet will also reach 31 at the end of 2014, and expanding to 80 aircraft by 2019.
