Chicago O'Hare reports Jun-2011 traffic up 1.6%

US' Chicago O'Hare International Airport announced the following traffic highlights in Jun-2011:

  • Passsenger numbers: 6,147,713, +1.6%;
    • Domestic: 5,265,529, +4.7%;
    • International: 882,184, -13.4%;
  • Cargo volume: 125,135.5 tonnes, -5.7%;
    • Freight: 111,788.0, -3.8%;
      • Domestic: 34,302.0, -10.7%;
      • International: 77,486.0, -0.4%;
    • Express: 8965.7, -21.9%;
    • Mail: 4381.8, -13.9%;
  • Aircraft movements: 76,369, +2.1%;
    • Domestic: 69,648, +2.9%;
    • International: 6721, -6.1%.
