Business air travel demand to remain depressed: UK CAA

UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) reported international business travel to and from the UK decreased by 4.4% in 2008 and 22.2% in 2009, with a further reduction in 1H2010 (Travel Daily News, 30-Dec-2010). Travel between the UK and the European Union recorded a decline in volumes reaching 25%. The next largest fall in the industry was between the UK and North America.
