British Airways passenger numbers up 5.9% - traffic highlights in Nov-2010:

  • Passenger numbers: 2.5 million, +5.9% year-on-year;
  • Passenger load factor: 74.7%, -1.2 ppts;
    • UK/Europe: 68.5%, +3.3 ppts;
    • Trans-Atlantic: 75.1%, -2.7 ppts;
    • Asia Pacific: 80.9%, -5.3 ppts;
    • Africa and Middle East: 75.4%, -0.3 ppts;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): -0.4%. [more]

British Airways: “In November 2010 traffic, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres, rose by 3.5%. Passenger capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometres, was up 5.1% on November 2009. This resulted in a passenger load factor decrease of 1.2 points versus last year, to 74.7%. Traffic comprised a 4.5% increase in premium traffic and a 3.2% increase in non-premium traffic,” Source: Company statement, 03-Dec-2010.
