Brisbane Airport 'is a cornerstone of our plans' for further expansion: AirAsia X

AirAsia X head of commercial Arik De, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, said (04-Aug-2016) the carrier plans to do more to expand its network reach in Australia, including launching service to Brisbane Airport. Mr De explained: "It's not a matter of if Malaysia Airlines flies here or not - we cater to everyone…Brisbane is a cornerstone of our plans…It's on the list."
