Bombardier logs seven CS300 orders from an existing, unidentified customer

Bombardier Aerospace announced (16-Jul-2014) an existing customer, which has requested to remain unidentified, has placed an additional conditional order for seven firm CS300 aircraft, as well as purchase rights for six additional CS300 aircraft. Based on the list price of the aircraft, a firm order for the seven CSeries aircraft would be valued at approximately USD553 million. Bombardier Commercial Aircraft senior VP, sales, marketing and asset management Ray Jones said the company is "very optimistic about the current status of our order book, which stands at 513 orders and commitments. We are well on our way to reach our target for 300 firm orders by entry-into-service, and have already achieved our 20 customer goal." [more - original PR]
