Biofuel could account for 10% of aviation use in a decade

Commercial Aviation Alternative Fuels Initiative Executive Director, Richard Altman, estimated that up to 10% of aviation fuel used in the US could be sourced from biofuel used in 50:50 blends by 2020 (The Australian, 18-Mar-2011). Biofuel producers could produce up to 3.7 billion litres p/a by 2020.
