BAA airports pax down 4%, cargo up 1% in Jul-2012

UK's BAA passenger numbers down 4% - traffic highlights for Jul-2012:

  • Passenger numbers: 9.6 million, -4.1% year-on-year;
    • UK and Channel Isles: 1.2 million, -2.4%;
    • Ireland: 353,000, -5.2%;
    • European scheduled: 4.2 million, -3.7%;
    • European chartered: 306,200, -12.0%;
    • North Atlantic: 1.7 million, -0.5%;
    • Other long-haul: 1.9 million, -7.2%;
  • Cargo volume: 146,455 tonnes, +0.6%;
  • Aircraft movements: 73,414, -0.6%.
