Avinor airports pax up 2% in Jul-2015

Avinor reported (11-Aug-2015) passenger numbers at its airport increased 2.1% year-on-year to 4.7 million passengers in Jul-2015. Domestic traffic increased 2.7% to 2.2 million and international traffic increased 1.8% to 2.4 million during the month. Oslo Airport traffic director Jasper Spruit said: "The disappointing summer weather in Norway this year caused many Norwegians to book last-minute trips to warmer climates. The increase is most likely a result of this and the fact that last year's summer in Norway was one of the best. Overall, this gives us a nice boost in traffic." [more - original PR]
