Australian Infrastructure Fund airports pax up 5% in Mar-2012
Australian Infrastructure Fund (AIX) reported (04-May-2012) passenger numbers at its member airports increased 4.9% year-on-year in Mar-2012 and 3.9% in the three months ended 31-Mar-2012. Mar-2012 passenger traffic details are as follows:
- Passenger numbers: +4.9% year-on-year;
- Perth Airport: 1.1 million, +12.1%;
- Domestic: 795,000, +11.8%;
- International: 284,000, +13.3%;
- Australia Pacific Airports Corporation: 2.6 million, +3.5%;
- Melbourne Airport:
- Domestic: 1.9 million, +0.6%;
- International: 570,000, +16.6%;
- Melbourne Airport:
- Queensland Airports Ltd: 616,000, +4.4%;
- Gold Coast Airport:
- Domestic: 390,000, +5.7%;
- International: 67,000, +6.2%;
- Gold Coast Airport:
- Townsville and Mount Isa airports: 159,000, +0.5%;
- Northern Territory Airports: 205,000, -7.5%;
- Sydney Airport: 3.0 million, +2.6%;
- Domestic: 2.1 million, -0.2%;
- International: 968,000, +8.6%;
- Athens Airport: 865,000, -11.5%;
- Domestic: 336,000, -4.3%;
- International: 529,000, -15.6%;
