Atlanta tops US airports ranked by enplanements on US airlines
US Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reports (11-Feb-2011) the following Top 10 US airports ranked by Nov-2010 system (domestic and international) scheduled enplanements on US airlines*:
- Passenger numbers:
- Atlanta: 3.5 million, +5.3% year-on-year;
- Chicago O'Hare: 2.4 million, +6.7%;
- Dallas/Fort Worth: 2.2 million, +4.5%;
- Denver: 1.9 million, +8.8%;
- Los Angeles: 1.8 million, +8.2%;
- Charlotte: 1.6 million, +17.1%;
- Phoenix: 1.5 million, +4.3%;
- Houston Bush: 1.5 million, +3.2%;
- Las Vegas: 1.5 million, -0.6%;
- San Francisco: 1.4 million, +6.5%. [more]
