Atlanta still tops US airports ranked by enplanements
US Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reports (14-Apr-2011) the following Top 10 US airports ranked by Jan-2011 system (domestic and international) scheduled enplanement on US airlines*:
- Passenger numbers:
- Atlanta: 3.0 million, -1.4% year-on-year;
- Dallas/Fort Worth: 2.0 million, +1.5%;
- Chicago O'Hare: 2.0 million, -2.6%;
- Denver: 1.9 million, +4.6%;
- Los Angeles: 1.8 million, +5.1%;
- Phoenix: 1.5 million, +5.6%;
- Las Vegas: 1.4 million, +6.1%;
- Houston Bush: 1.4 million, +0.2%;
- Charlotte: 1.4 million, +8.7%;
- Orlando: 1.3 million, +3.8%. [more]
