Association of European Airlines : competitiveness is a key issue in the European airline industry

Association of European Airlines CEO Athar Husain Khan, speaking at the CAPA World Aviation Summit, said (21-Nov-2014) competitiveness is a key issue in the European airline industry. Mr Khan reported serious concerns that over-regulation impedes the ability of airlines to compete and carriers are also impacted by infrastructure limitations and unnecessary costs, including taxes and levies.
