Asiana Airlines will be 12th operator of A380, to use A380 on US routes

Asiana Airlines stated (Dec-2013) the carrier will be the 12th operator of the A380 aircraft, when the carrier takes delivery of the aircraft in 2Q2014, according to Asiana's Weibo page. The carrier plans to introduce the aircraft on US routes. As previously reported, Asiana said its first A380 aircraft is scheduled to commence operations in May-2014, with the carrier recruiting new flight attendants to support the introduction of the aircraft into service. Asiana will be one of four new operators of the aircraft during 2014.
