Andrea Ragnetti appointed Alitalia's new managing director

Alitalia board of directors appointed (24-Feb-2012) Andrea Ragnetti as managing director, effective 05-Mar-2012. The board also acknowledged the resignation of Rocco Sabelli from the position, effective 24-Feb-2012. Mr Sabelli will continue in his office as member of the board and CEO with full powers until the natural expiry of the board's term of office, which will occur concurrently with the approval of the company's financial accounts at 31-Dec-2011 by the shareholders.
