ANA orders more B777s and B767s

All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Boeing announced (21-Dec-2009) an order for five B777-200ERs (for delivery between Apr-2012 and Mar-2014) and five B767-300ERs (for delivery between Apr-2010 and Mar-2012). The order is valued at approximately USD2 billion at list prices. The carrier reportedly decided on the B767 order after reviewing the delivery schedule for the B787, for which the carrier already has an order for 55 B787s (for delivery between late 2010 and 2017) (Reuters, 21-Dec-2009). The airline stated it would acquire the five B777-200ERs for JPY109.2 billion (USD1.2 billion) and the five B767-300ER aircraft for JPY76 billion (USD833 million) (Dow Jones, 21-Dec-2009).
