Alitalia to join SkyTeam trans-Atlantic JV

Alitalia Airlines plans to join the trans-Atlantic agreement between Delta Air Lines and Air France-KLM and other SkyTeam airlines (BTN, 22-Jun-2010). The carriers have antitrust immunity for the JV, which allows them to mutually agree on fares, routes and share revenue on trans-Atlantic routes.
