Alitalia: ANPAC strike causes 'limited inconvenience' to passengers

Alitalia stated (25-May-2015) a strike by pilots and cabin crew represented by ANPAC caused "imited inconvenience" to its passengers on 25-May-2015, with only 110 staff undertaking strike action. Alitalia CEO Silvano Cassano said: "We recognise the right to strike but we do not accept the specious propaganda of falsehood. The ANPAC strike today was an act deeply disrespectful towards passengers, already tested by difficulties arising from the fire at Terminal 3 of Fiumicino." Mr Cassano added: "Today ANPAC went on strike against agreements signed by it and on the basis of speculation without factual finding. Alitalia is not interested in dealing with those who pursue similar attitudes." [more - original PR - Italian]
