Airbus delays delivery of Qantas’ next two A380 aircraft to Dec-2009

Airbus has delayed the delivery of Qantas' next two A380 aircraft to Dec-2009 (Sydney Morning Herald, 15-Oct-2009). The aircraft were originally scheduled to commence services to Los Angeles in Nov-2009. Qantas stated it does not expect "any commercial impact" from the delay, as it is yet to release its Northern Winter schedule for the aircraft.
