Airbus confirms Hawaiian Airlines to order six A330-800neo aircraft

Airbus confirmed (23-Jul-2014) Hawaiian Airlines signed a MoU for six A330-800neo aircraft, replacing a previous order for six A350-800s. Airbus noted Hawaiian is the first US carrier to join its launch list for the new aircraft type. Airbus COO John Leahy stated, "The A330-800neo will serve the Hawaiian network well as the airline continues to expand in Asia and grow its capacity in mature markets." [more - original PR]
