airberlin reports 'significantly improved' results in 3Q2012

airberlin reported (14-Nov-2012) a "significantly improved" 3Q2012 result with operating profit increasing by 4.5% year-on-year to EUR101.2 million on the back of a 1.4% increase in revenue to EUR1395 million and despite a targeted capacity reduction of 5.4%. Yield (revenue per passenger) improved by 6.0% to EUR121.79.
