AirAsia X revenue up 4% - financial highlights for three months ended 31-Mar-2015:

  • Revenue: MYR775.4 million (USD214.3 million), +3.5% year-on-year;
  • Costs:
    • Fuel: MYR274.4 million (USD75.9 million), -31.6%;
    • Maintenance, overhaul, user charges and other related expenses: MYR205.6 million (USD56.8 million), +41.9%;
  • Operating profit: MYR5.9 million (USD1.6 million), compared to a loss of MYR33.1 million (USD9.1 million) in p-c-p;
  • Net profit (loss): (MYR125.9 million) (USD34.8 million), compared to a loss of MYR11.3 million (USD3.1 million) in p-c-p;
  • Passenger numbers: 914,970, -15.3%;
  • Load factor: 73.6%, -12.2 ppts;
