AirAsia India announces New Delhi as new hub

AirAsia India CEO Mittu Chandilya, via his official Twitter account, announced (15-Apr-2015) New Delhi as its new hub. He Tweeted: "Excited to announce 1st of our newest destinations- New Delhi. Will also be our Northern Hub. Opening for sales soon!". Delhi will become the carrier's second hub after Bangalore. Delhi will also serve as a base for the airline, while Bangalore will remain the home base.
