AirAsia Group in talks with Airbus, likes A330 and A350-900

AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes, on his personal Twitter account, said he was going "back to France" for "some important meetings with Airbus", according to a Twitter post on 19-Jan-2013. On 20-Jan-2013 he said: "Honestly don't think the A350-800 is a good plane", separately stating he wants the A330 neo and that "330 neo 350 900 is perfect combination". He also said, "We don't have any Boeing planes. 100 percent european airbus". On the issues with the 787 said, he said: "I'm sure they'll come good, but must cost companies a fair whack!".
