Air Zimbabwe: Wage agreement not limited to pilots

Air Zimbabwe stated a wage and allowances agreement made with the Zimbabwe Government to provide USD4 million in back-pay would apply to all employees and not just pilots (The Herald, 21-Apr-2011). USD2 million will be made available for back-pay for pilots, with the remaining USD2 million to be shares between engineering and general staff. Some wage claims at the carrier date back to 2009.
