Air India to receive first B787 in 4Q2011

Boeing India President Dinesh Keskar stated the manufacturer would deliver the first of 27 B787s on order by Air India in 4Q2011, marking a delay of nearly two years from the original schedule of late 2009 (Dow Jones, 10-Feb-2011). Mr Keskar declined to comment on the compensation the manufacturer may have to pay to Air India due to the delay in deliveries.
