Air Berlin to return to profit in 2012 "at the latest": CEO

Air Berlin CEO Joachim Hunold stated the carrier plans to return to profit in 2012 "at the latest" as its benefits from its entry into the oneworld alliance (WirtschaftsWoche, 04-Mar-2011). Mr Hunold added that the company is in talks with candidates who could fill a new post on its management board and may consider hiring people from outside Germany for the position.
