Air Berlin focusses on Düsseldorf

Air Berlin announced (13-Apr-2011) it is strengthening its hub in Dusseldorf, as part of preparations for its admission into oneworld, planned for early 2012. In 2010, 6.7 million passengers used Air Berlin's services at Dusseldorf Airport. Air Berlin will open an exclusive waiting lounge at the airport on 15-Apr-2011. The carrier is increasing its number of destinations served from there to more than 80, as well as increasing connecting flights by 18%. [more]
