Aer Lingus confirmed (25-Jun-2010) it intends to transfer its operations at Dublin Airport to Terminal 2 from Nov-2010, to coincide with the opening of the new facility. Aer Lingus will become the anchor tenant at T2 and will operate full long-haul and short-haul service from there. Aer Lingus will also use the new US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility, which is an integral element of T2. Aer Lingus and the DAA have also agreed to work together to improve the travel experience for passengers transferring through Dublin Airport. Terminal 2 will also handle Etihad Airways' services from Dublin and trans-Atlantic flights operated by US carriers. [more]
