AEA pax numbers up 3% to 32.5 million in May-2013, cargo traffic up 2%

Association of European Airlines (AEA) reports (03-Jul-2013) the following traffic highlights for its member airlines in May-2013:

  • Passenger numbers: 32.5 million, +3.1% year-on-year;
    • International short/medium-haul: 18.4 milion, +5%;
    • Total long-haul: 6.5 million, +4.8%;
    • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +4.7%;
    • Capacity (ASKs): +3.2%;
  • Load factor: 78.8%, +1.1 ppts;
