AEA pax numbers up 1% in Feb-2013, cargo traffic down 5%

Association of European Airlines (AEA) reports (05-Apr-2013) the following traffic highlights for its member airlines in Feb-2013:

Passenger numbers: 24.4 million, +1.3% year-on-year;
- International short/medium-haul: 13.0 million, +3.2%;
- Total long-haul: 5.1 million, +0.9%;
Passenger traffic (RPKs): +1.0%;
Capacity (ASKs): -1.7%;
Load factor: 75.5%, +2.1 ppts;
